An Inspirational ApproachAcross our Out-of-School Clubs, our experienced, qualified play workers are committed to offering children stimulating activities and opportunities which engage each individual child. We work closely with schools to support homework and enhance school learning with supporting activities.
Protecting WellbeingWe promote a healthy lifestyle in a safe, secure environment. Each Club has a large outdoor play area, as well as outstanding indoor play spaces. Our award-winning menus offer a variety of nutritional meals. We teach children the skills they need to regulate their own behaviour and to assess risk for themselves.
Exceptional QualityOur multi award-winning, reflective practice is delivered by knowledgeable and experienced staff led by committed Group owners. Continual investment and ongoing development, along with our partnerships with parents, schools and the community, ensure we give each child a strong foundation for future learning.
A Nurturing ExperienceEach child is supported and valued; we respect differences, encouraging and enabling each unique child to make friends and have fun in a welcoming, happy environment.

This week at Worthington we have been celebrating Apple Day and looking at the environment around us.
We have also been talking about autumn and what it represents for us.
To show our appreciation for orchards and nature we learnt all about apples and even made some apple dippers!

World Mental Health Day
After months of lockdown and it’s associated strains and losses, this year has had a huge impact on us all. Prioritising mental health has never been more important than it is now.
With this in mind, the children have been focusing on feelings and emotions along with regular yoga and meditation sessions. These allow the children time to feel calm and focus which in turn helps reduce stress and anxiety.

The children at Bowdon had great fun this week with their space themed activities.
They spent time building space stations and rockets and making space scenes with astronauts.
I wonder if this has inspired any future careers?
National Library Week
The children have really gone all things books this week in line with National Library Week – which takes place to celebrate the nation’s much-loved libraries and their vital role in the UK’s book culture.
With this in mind, each group at all clubs chose a book and had their activities designed around their theme.
The children at Navigation had a wonderful time making their own trees and characters, we think they are very talented.
