Hale Day Nursery recognised as Outstanding in all areas by OFSTED
Hale Day Nursery & Nursery School on Bankhall Lane, Hale, has achieved the highest Ofsted rating of Outstanding in all areas. Hale Day Nursery, caring for children aged 0-5 years, is part of the Elmscot Group, an Altrincham-based childcare organisation comprising of 4 Day Nurseries and 8 School’s Out out-of-school Clubs. Owned and run by two local mums, the Elmscot Group provides exceptional Nursery Day Care, Preschool Education and Out-of-School childcare, with 8 of their 12 childcare settings judged Ofsted Outstanding – a level of quality not matched by any other regional provider.
The Ofsted inspector felt that our management team was inspirational and extremely committed to providing exceptional early years experiences for all children and families. “All aspects of teaching are outstanding. Highly qualified and experienced staff use their excellent skills and knowledge well. They meticulously plan rich and varied activities to support the individual needs and interests of each child. This contributes towards children being superbly motivated and eager to learn.”
The inspector recognized that the nursery has a very strong focus on preparing children for school. “Enthusiastic and incisive staff are thoroughly committed to teaching children the skills they need to be well prepared for future learning. Staff use inspiring strategies to help children to make excellent progress in their development. A robust key-person system supports children’s emotional security. Children are extremely happy and demonstrate that they are secure and confident in the care of the sensitive and nurturing staff.”
Ofsted also reported that Hale’s partnership with parents, schools and external agencies is exceptional, supporting continuity in all children’s learning and development.
